Closely edging out Villa Mahana as my number-one Bora Bora restaurant pick is Maikai Yacht club. What really separates these two restaurants – besides amazing cuisine – is its gorgeous yacht club setting with amazing style, architecture and atmosphere. Chef Teiva is local-born superstar who after earning high acclaim at prestigious restaurants in France and the US, returned to his island home to share his award-winning talents. His array of culinary influences mixed with local produce, fresh seafood and top-quality meats come together in a fabulously innovative, delectable fare.
